Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress. She is a regular in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She won the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her performance as actress Savitri. Three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. Also, she received an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents include filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her first acting experience began in the mid 2000s. She was the role of lead actress in Geethaanjali, a Malayalam-language film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The movie was not a success in the theater. Even though the film was not a success at the box-office, her debut film was A. A. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) that she was in opposite Vikramprabhu. In order to fit in more ambitious projects, she needed to cancel films that she'd already begun working on. These included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. In a short time she collaborated together with Sivakarthikeyan in Rajini Murugan, Remo and was also the lead actor for Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut was planned in the form of Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. In 2015 the movie was delayed, and reports indicate that Janakitho Nenu is expected to release in September 2020. The debut film was Nenu Sailaja in 2016, starring the actor Ram Pothineni. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa with actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
